Hmm… something looks different around here
The winds of change have been blowing around here at Kodakit for some time now, and we’re excited to show off what we’ve been working on. Our new website is one of many secret projects and major overhauls created to grow Kodakit’s business offerings, support our community and look good doing it.
So what’s changed?
Aside from an entirely new look and feel–we’ve also completely revamped the user experience. Now it’s easier for creatives to join our community (you can’t escape those buttons now), and much easier for businesses to sign up– which is a good thing for everyone involved. On the photographer’s page, you’ll see an Upcoming Gigs feed, which we update regularly.
Our new site is also now fully responsive–making it easier to access via mobile, tablet or desktop. You’ll find easier access to content like our blog, newsletter signup and our Kodakit Empowers page, the social responsibility arm of our company.
What’s next?
This year, we’re launching our Partner Program, an affiliate program where we scour new and amazing companies that benefit our creatives, bringing them to the forefront for our community.
You can also expect to see some more photography instant booking opportunities for smaller businesses. This, along with new types of gigs for creatives, and a quickly expanding training and learning platform, and an app, will make using Kodakit easier than ever.
The future future
While we can’t spill the beans quite yet, there are some exciting things coming down the pipeline. For our creative community, you can look forward to a new back-end platform that will make interfacing with our team, uploading photos, booking gigs and all your work with Kodakit a lot easier. We are slowly beginning the migration process, so please be patient and know that we are moving you on to bigger and better things.
For our clients–get ready for some big advances. We’ll still be offering access to the global, high-quality photography you need, but soon we’ll be upping the ante. Expect to see more in the way of video, drone footage, and 360. We have some top-secret additions in the world of digital imaging, visual engagement and VR in the works as well–but we’re not ready to let the cat out of the bag just yet.
Thank you, and you, and you!
Thanks to everyone in our community who has been with us over the past 2 years. We’re excited about the growth and changes–and want to keep you in mind the whole way. Stay in the loop by subscribing to our newsletter, Kodakit Highlights and following us on Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin. We want to hear what you have to say, and will always keep you in mind as we continue to grow Kodakit.
